eShark — The Global Shark & Ray Collaboration project

*ongoing

The world’s largest & longest-running people-powered shark & ray project: We’ve been collecting and connecting shark and ray data since 2003. Now we have an app for eShark — eOceans.

1. 2 million observations logged from 90 regions of the world — contributing to 100+ species and 19 million sq km of increased protection.

If you see sharks, rays, or their threats in the wild, or being sold in markets, you can help.
Log shark and ray observations in near real-time in the eOceans app.
